Exmouth is the home of the world’s largest fish, the Whale Shark. It’s the closest accommodation point to Australia’s famous Ningaloo Reef, one of Western Australia’s most popular tourist attractions. See rainbow coral glittering from the ocean floor during snorkelling, scuba diving, shark diving, fishing and glass boat tours best enjoyed from April through to July.

Explore 300 kilometres of white beaches and crystal clear turquoise lagoons. Gaze at giant mantra rats from July until February and experience the best whale watching vantage points in the Exmouth Gulf from September to November.

Turtle nesting season starts from October through to January. Families will enjoy watching the turtle eggs hatching between January and March along the coastline’s protected bays and lagoons.

Popular adventure tours and activities include 4WD safaris, glass bottom boat tours, micro light and scenic flights over the reef.
