will tell you the importance of guest satisfaction, guest feedback and word of
mouth recommendations. That’s why the
“Most Positive Customer Comments” award is so highly sought after at the Best
Western Awards.
The complimentary letters
and positive guest feedback for the Best Western Golden Grain demonstrated that
it was the little things, such as fresh flowers in the rooms, that counted the
most.
In addition to the letters
and emails received from guests, Managers of the Best Western Golden Grain,
Russell & Rhonda Sleep regularly conduct guest surveys to solicit feedback. One such customer survey provided feedback
from guests on the quality and cleanliness of their room directly to
housekeeping staff. Russell & Rhonda believe that the feedback received
provided an excellent opportunity for their cleaners to have greater control
over their work environment and the survey was a great tool used to improve
staff skills and the presentation of motel rooms. Plus, it is nice for staff to be thanked
personally by guests for their hard work.
There were 15 award categories open to all
220 Best Western Australia hotels, motels, resorts and apartments. All winners
were recognised in front of their peers at the hotel company’s national
Convention at Novotel Twin Waters Resort,
