Best Western and American Express launch a more rewarding card

Best Western and American Express have partnered to offer a brand-new charge card offering businesses a smarter way to pay for accommodation and earn great rewards.

Kimi Anderson, General Manager Sales & Marketing, at Best Western said, “The new American Express Best Western Gold Business Card offers the same great savings with less paperwork and excellent rewards for corporate travellers who regularly use Best Western accommodation.”

The American Express Best Western Gold Business Card has no annual fee for the life of the card and provides access to corporate benefits and services at participating Best Western Hotels. These benefits include: no expiry date on points, free room upgrades, free breakfast, free membership to Best Western Rewards and a 10 percent discount on food and beverages.

“The Card minimises potential liability by limiting travellers spending to Best Western locations and it also cuts down on the amount of paperwork there is to do which makes it perfect for small businesses. Cardmembers can view their balance and expenditure online and download pre-formatted monthly statements for easy tax submission.”

“Charge cards are increasingly popular for corporate use and are particularly suitable for travel expenses. They give the Cardmember the purchasing power to pay for variable expenses which the business then settles on a monthly basis. The business then benefits from up to 51 days interest free credit and the benefits of a rewards program, without the liability of a revolving line of credit.”

Cardmembers can also 'double-dip' to receive rewards points with both the American Express Membership Rewards* and Best Western Rewards programs.

Cardmembers of the American Express Best Western Gold Business Card earn one point for every $1 they spend and easy points redemption on a huge range of rewards from free travel, accommodation, retail gift cards and a wide range of consumer products.
